"Hooked on Murder" a contest

I devoured Betty Hechtman's "Hooked on Murder" and found it to be a charming book. The book is from the viewpoint of Molly Pink, a 4oish widow, and she's a very likable character. Plus there's a crochet pattern and a pound cake recipe in it.....
I have an extra copy I am going to have a drawing for - so make a comment on this post and I will pick a winner on May 17, 2008 and mail the book to the winner.
Please, no whining. I get enough of that at work;)
Good Luck!

I totally love these types of novels. I also like your site. It is fun to get new ideas and all.

I hope I win but if I don't I promise not to whine - at least not loud enough for you to hear.

Glad to see we are finally getting a murder mystery that has crocheting in it. Next to crocheting and knitting, reading mystery and fantasy books is my favorite past time. I am sure whoever wins will be thrilled with the book.

This is unbelievable. I was just going online to hunt down a copy of this book when I saw your posting in the CrochetPartners group. Maybe I'll wait to see if I can win a copy. If not, I'll buy it for myself because it sounds like a fun read.

Read your post on CP so here I am. LOL I've been wanting to read "Hooked on Murder" but was waiting for our library to get it in. Who knows though when (or if) that will be. That said, I'd really like to be chosen for the drawing! ;-) It's about time someone wrote a book about crocheting -- really looking forward to reading this book!!

am so looking forward to this book. I have read all the Debbie Macomber Blossom street books, Friday Night Knitting Club and there were some mystery ones that had to do with cross stitch by Monica Ferris. Check this site out, it has many needlework associated titles.

I'd love to be entered into your contest also! :) I'm currently reading "The Friday Night Knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs & I don't even knit! LOL! It's a good book and I'm sure that I would enjoy a book about crochet even more! Thanks for sponsoring this contest & I am sure that whomever wins will be thrilled.
